If you're keen to be green then you've gotta be seen at this weekend's EarthFair and Green Apple Festival in New York. It all takes place on Vanderbilt Avenue alongside the Grand Central Terminal in midtown Manhattan.
The event runs from 12 noon to 7pm on Friday April 18th and 11am to 5pm on the Saturday, and a host of great bands are lined up to entertain. Yoga demos, bike rides, scrumptious organic drinks, the secret life of a cellphone, composting techniques, and loads of stands promoting weird and wonderful ways to recycle your junk are all on the agenda. It is being billed as “America’s largest Earth Day celebration” and culminates on the Sunday with eight free festivals occurring simultaneously at landmark locations across America.
